The vocabulary used by white-label vendors, affiliates and operators. No jargon and no fluff.
- ARPU
- Average revenue per user. Total revenue divided by active users in a given period.
- Chargeback
- A reversed payment initiated by the cardholder's bank, usually for fraud or dissatisfaction claims.
- CPL
- Cost per lead. The amount an advertiser pays for a single registered user or qualifying signup.
- KYC
- Know your customer. Identity verification procedures required by payment processors and regulators.
- LTV
- Lifetime value. The total revenue a single member is expected to generate across their time on the site.
- Member pool
- A shared database of real dating profiles that multiple partner sites in a network can match against, giving even new sites instant liquidity.
- PCI DSS
- Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard, the security framework merchants must follow when handling card data.
- White label
- A model where you operate a dating site under your own brand on top of a partner's platform, database and member pool.
